It is so great when friends become really, really successful. so successful that they turn up in the newspaper, in fact.

I met Emma James during my training in Sydney in October last year. She is a World Champion Powerlifter, a title that she hold for numerous years. Hey, we had fun, talking, exchanging ideas, studying and training together.

Once we both succeeded in our training, we went out, together with the whole gang that was there with us, to celebrate.

Here are the results of this outing:

It is fun to carry a world champion, hehe. So here is another one, also showing her humour.

But it doesn't last long, because, well, she really is strong!!!

(Emma carrying me!!!)She nowadays trains athletes, and shares her knowledge with others in her NLP Training classes in the UK.

A fun lady, but very, very dedicated to the success of those that she works with. I am hoping that she is, one day, visiting me in Malaysia, so that she can share her knowledge with Malaysian athletes as well. Because, hey, NLP is great for use in sport as well - anybody out there reading this from the sports world in Malaysia?

By chance, I found the article copied below - all the best Emma - I am going to send you the link to this entry!

"World Champion Teaches her Secrets

World Champion Athlete and NLP Trainer reveals her secrets to the World!

[ClickPress, Sat Jan 13 2007] World Champion Powerlifter, Emma James, is beginning a new course to teach other athletes, managers and coaches the secrets of her success.

As an NLP (neuro linguistic programmer) Trainer, she applied many of the techniques she learnt as a successful therapist to her own training and not only took World Titles but also world records. Now, after successes with her own performance and those of her clients she has applied the pure sports application to the normal NLP Practitioner course and is about to launch this to the world.

“I am completely happy now with the results these techniques have produced for individuals and teams and am ready to incorporate it into a course. Managers and coaches that have used these techniques as well have had true success and I hold enough World Records now not to worry about my competition learning my techniques!” Emma said.

The first of the NLP Sports Practitioner courses are to be held in Dubai in February and then the premier UK course in May. For further information about Emma James see www.stimulus.webeden.co.uk also email her for coaching or competing advice."
